Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo is to receive the Torch of Unity in Lokoja, the State Capital on Saturday, 29th March, 2025. A statement by  the Director of Sports, Kogi State Sports Council, Mr Akowe Sule Adejoh noted that the Torch of Unity is a Unifier symbol Torch which heralds the eminence of the National Sports Festival Programme. National Directorate  of Employment (NDE), has disbursed  empowerment items  to unemployed persons who participated under the ninety-three thousand, seven hundred and thirty-one jobs creation initiative of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu led Administration in Kogi  State.
