A former Governorship candidate of the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP) in the 2023 Kogi State gubernatorial election, Musa Mubarak Saliu, has strongly denied allegations of fraud leveled against him by Abuja-based business woman, Zainab Abubakar, describing the claims as false, malicious, and entirely lacking in substance. In a statement issued on Wednesday, Saliu addressed the allegations made by Abubakar, who accused him of fraudulently allocating real estate properties to her under suspicious circumstances. There's no gain saying that the former chairman of Inter Party Advisory Council, (IPAC), Hon Ibrahim Itodo,  has contributed honestly to the growth and development of APC in kogi state, his resolve to always support the ruling party in kogi state has been his tracjectory in politics. Salman Idris, has taken a bold step towards empowering the youth and women in the area. Through a one-day training and empowerment program, Salman in collaboration with Arcad Projects Limited, equipped 100 participants with the necessary skills and resources to contribute to the overall security of the constituency. The training program, held at the Anglican Cathedral Hall in Kabba, focused on various security measures, including conflict resolution, community policing, and self-defense techniques.  Each participant received N100,000 in support of their participation, enabling them to start their own businesses and become self-reliant. Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has donated a multimillion naira water drilling machine to Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASSA) in a bid to boost water supply to the people across communities in the State. The provision of the water drilling machine is part of commitment of the State Government to boost water supply especially at rural areas through Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agency (RUWASSA). Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Hon Comfort Nwuchola Egwuaba, while commissioning the equipment on behalf of the Governor in Lokoja, expressed the commitment of the present administration to putting an end to water scarcity in the State.
