Opposition losts Confidence in Hon Ibrahim Itodo

There's no gain saying that the former chairman of Inter Party Advisory Council, (IPAC), Hon Ibrahim Itodo,  has contributed honestly to the growth and development of APC in kogi state, his resolve to always support the ruling party in kogi state has been his tracjectory in politics.
Unfortunately, his innovation and plead to support APC in 2023 Governorship was a charade because we've nothing to show for it.

It's most disheartening that all our efforts through the preparation of candidates of about 10 political parties that collapsed their structures to work for APC was not recognized for the all inclusive governance promised.

Though Hon Ibrahim Itodo was not also remembered, we'll not forgive him to have lead us into fruitless and clueless administration that can not keep promises.

We are worried and angry with Hon Itodo because 2023 Governorship election was one of the most contentious Governorship election held so far since the creation of kogi state, to worsen the matter, His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ahmed Ododo promised that the political parties and their candidates that stepped down for him shall be adequately compensated, but unfortunately what we noticed was the romance of other politicians in PDP and SDP that gave us a fight  during the struggle that were brought in to form government.

We didn't learn our lesson, when the local government election came, Governor Ododo also had an engagement through Hon Hadi Ametuo special Adviser on political matters, the Governor still in his humility appealed to political parties to cooperate for a harmonious working relationship and we yeilded through the IPAC Chairman, Hon Iliyas Badanga in collaboration with the majority of all the political parties to have a peaceful election devoid of rancour and aggression because what's sacrosanct on our mind is to have a kogi of our dream not geared towards selfishness and greed,but still, nothing to show in terms of even a Special Assistant.

During the collation of results all the political parties in support of APC added their voices in countering the agitations to cancel the results  because of over rigging but we stood our grounds to defend what we know best on the field during the election.

We are using this channel to appeal to Hon Ibrahim Itodo, Hon Hadi Ametuo Special Adviser political and the Executive Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and lastly the modern political leader, a sagacious administrator, an iroko, a catapiller and Buldoja the man God has lifted, former Governor Alh Yahaya Adoza Bello on whose legacy we stood to bear all odds to stand in the gap as always to see that the relationship is cemented and concretised because there'll always be another election.

SECURITY: OLAMABORO LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMAN ENGAGES OFANTE OGUGU COMMUNITY, PLACES BAN ON RECEIVING NEW FULANIS

In a bold and proactive move to address rising insecurity and the influx of Fulani into Ofante Ogugu community, Executive Chairman of Olamaboro Local Government, Hon. Ameh Williams, on June 20th, visited the community and Declared Zero Tolerance for insecurity and Criminal Activities in the area. The high-powered security and community engagement meeting attracted personalities including traditional rulers, women and youth leaders, security operatives, the Fulani and Hausa leadership in Ofante, political office holders, and other relevant stakeholders from Ofante, Adupi, Emodu, and surrounding communities. 2024/2025 WAEC Data Capturing Commences In Kogi Public Secondary Schools Jan. 13

By Stephen Adeleye  Lokoja, Jan. 10, 2025 The Kogi State Ministry of Education, has announced the date for the commencement of Data Capturing for 2024/2025  West African Examination Council (WAEC) in Public Secondary Schools across the state.   The announcement was made in a statement signed by Mrs Iyabo Moraiyewa, the WAEC Desk Officer, Kogi State Ministry of Education on Friday in Lokoja.  According to the statement, the 2024/2025 WAEC data capturing would commence on Monday, January 13, 2025. Moraiyewa solicited for the total support and cooperation of the relevant stakeholders for a seamless exercise.
