Professor Abdulhameed Mambo urges Muslims to be cautious of effective time management as given to mankind by Allah
Professor Abdulhameed Danjuma Mambo of the University of Abuja, has described Time as one of the most precious resources given to mankind by Allah.
Professor Mambo made the remark in a paper presentation at the monthly lecture Organised by Miftahul Khairat Juma'at Masjid, in collaboration with Sisters of Jannah in Lokoja.
Professor Danjuma Mambo whose lecture centered on "Time Management in the life of a Muslim" said time itself is life, stressing that, every breath take is a count down to appointed time.
According to him, he described time as life and death, success and failure of individuals and rise and fall of civilization.
He further said, in Islam their is no time management but personal management as Allah has given mankind the opportunity to manage his or her time, it is a witness to our deeds, success ,failure.
The guest lecturer enumerate common time wasting habits to include endless scrolling on social media, street side discussions, procrastination and Idle TV watching, among others.
The Chairman of the Occasion, Alhaji Abdurahman Musa commend the Miftahul Khairat for sustaining the monthly lecture noting that his zeal in the propagation of Islam is highly commendable.
Alhaji Musa described the topic time management in Islam as apt, noting that of recent many Muslims has move from the Islamic time to Africa time which he described as a set back to the Muslim Community
The Chief host, and the executive chief Imam of Miftahul Khairat Juma'at Masjid, justice Mohammed Bello said the monthly lecture was aimed at reminding the Muslim community about the teachings of Quran and Sunnah.
He shade more light on the last lecture which talk about courses, symptoms ,prevention and treatment of cancer,in the present day society and the need for regular medical checkup and early detection of strategies in combating
the disease.
Justice Mohammed Bello also talk about importance of science and technology in the life of Muslims emphasized that technology is indispensable in education, health care, communication and worship in today's world.
Also speaking the Amirah Sisters of Jannah Lokoja Zone, Hajia Fatima Mohammed encourage Muslims to manage their time, pick that which is relevant and Important the need for Muslims to understand that religion of Islam is binded by time.
She called on parents to inculcate the attitude of time management in their children to enable them because ambassadors of Islam and their community.
Amirah Fatima charged women to drop side gossip manage their time in the worship of Allah for his mercy.
They were good will messages from the judiciary,Sharia court of Appeal, JNI, COUNCIL of ULAMA'U, FOMWAN amongst others.
