George Mataga urges members of Crusher community to avoid spread of rumour, go about their daily businesses without panic

Crusher Community have been told to go about their daily businesses and avoid the spread of rumour that can set panic to the people of the area.

The community chairman, Mr George Mataga gave the advice shortly after inspecting the borehole drilling site that has generated panic of potential attack of the public by men of the underworld.

The chairman who frowned at the negligence of normal procedure for execution of such project without community or security awareness noted that their actions has resulted to panic and closure of schools and businesses within the area.

He dispel the rumour that there were kidnappers in the community but maintained the need for sustenance of mental alertness to nip crimes and criminalities in the bud.

Mr Mataga commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for granting the approval for the recruitment of fifty thousand police officers, other security agencies as well as positive consideration of community policing.

He emphasized that the prompt decision has shown how's deeply concerned the president is about the rising waves of insecurity in the country.

The community chairman also appealed to the people to obey restrictions given by Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to end every religious activities by four o clock in the evening and avoid excesses that can put the community in jeopardy.
