NEWLY APPOINTED SSA ON GRASSROOT SENSITISATION APPRECIATES GOVERNOR AHMED USMAN ODODO ON APPOINTMENT

Newly appointed Senior special assistant on grassroot sensitisation to the executive governor of Kogi State, Honourable Mohammed Ibrahim Dangana, has sent a message of appreciation to the governor and his cabinet for finding him capable and worthy of appointment into his administration.

In a letter of appreciation signed and issued through his media aide, the SSA thanked and appreciated the governor for his magnanimity, love, and passion to carry everybody along irrespective of political, tribal and religious affiliation.

He described Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo as a man of wisdom who is passionate about the infrastructural development of kogi State and has done exceedingly well since taking over the mantle of leadership in Kogi State.

" Despite knowing that we are in the opposition, the governor has demonstrated his unflinching passion and undiluted love for the people in the state through his numerous laudable developmental efforts which underscores his strong desire and zeal to weave the entire citizens together for a prosperous kogi state" 

" On behalf of my family, friends, and associates, I want to use this opportunity to appreciate his Excellency for finding me worthy of appointment into his government, and I promise to contribute my quota to the development of the state and his administration.

Hon Dangana prayed God almighty to keep the young visionary governor in good shape and grant him strength, wisdom, and doggedness to keep delivering the dividends of democracy to the good people of Kogi state.

SECURITY: OLAMABORO LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMAN ENGAGES OFANTE OGUGU COMMUNITY, PLACES BAN ON RECEIVING NEW FULANIS

In a bold and proactive move to address rising insecurity and the influx of Fulani into Ofante Ogugu community, Executive Chairman of Olamaboro Local Government, Hon. Ameh Williams, on June 20th, visited the community and Declared Zero Tolerance for insecurity and Criminal Activities in the area. The high-powered security and community engagement meeting attracted personalities including traditional rulers, women and youth leaders, security operatives, the Fulani and Hausa leadership in Ofante, political office holders, and other relevant stakeholders from Ofante, Adupi, Emodu, and surrounding communities. 2024/2025 WAEC Data Capturing Commences In Kogi Public Secondary Schools Jan. 13

By Stephen Adeleye  Lokoja, Jan. 10, 2025 The Kogi State Ministry of Education, has announced the date for the commencement of Data Capturing for 2024/2025  West African Examination Council (WAEC) in Public Secondary Schools across the state.   The announcement was made in a statement signed by Mrs Iyabo Moraiyewa, the WAEC Desk Officer, Kogi State Ministry of Education on Friday in Lokoja.  According to the statement, the 2024/2025 WAEC data capturing would commence on Monday, January 13, 2025. Moraiyewa solicited for the total support and cooperation of the relevant stakeholders for a seamless exercise.
