Confluence Queens FC And Ekiti Queens Play Out 1-1 Draw In The Ongoing Sheroes Cup Preseason 2025 Tournament In Abuja

The Confluence Queens FC, Lokoja, and Ekiti Queens FC played out a 1-1 draw in their Sheroes Cup Preseason 2025 on match day three encounter in Abuja.


The Ekiti Queens FC scored their goal in the first half, but Confluence Queens FC quickly equalized.

However, despite several chances for Confluence Queens to win the match, they could not make good use of those scoring opportunities to hit the net.

Earlier, the Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Aridaojo Monday Anyebe, visited the Confluence Queens FC at the Area Three Football Pitch, Abuja which was adjudged to be a  morale-boosting visit. 


Hon. Anyebe assured the team of his unwavering support and promised to gift them a N100,000 reward if they win the match.

He told the players that Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo was happy with the team's performance and urged them to sustain the tempo.


Meanwhile, the Chairman of Kogi United Football Club, Hon. Isah Abdulmalik Dolly, also promised a N50,000 reward for the team if they win their day three match. 


The Kogi State Sports Trust Fund Chairman, Hon Abdulrahim Ozovehe Ohiere, Former Chairman Kogi United Football Club and Confluence Queens FC., Mr. Abdul Sule and Former Chief Operating Officer Nigeria National League (NNL), Emmanuel Adesanya also were on ground as a way of encouraging the Confluence Queens FC.

At the end of the match, a Confluence Queens FC player, Edeh Blessing was crowned best player of the match.
