Sen. Karimi Commiserates Kogi Finance Commissioner on the Passing of His Father, Late Alhaji Asiru Ijagbemi.

The Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District Sen Sunday Karimi has extended heartfelt condolences to Asiwaju Asiru Idris, Kogi State Commissioner For Finance Budget and Economic Planning, Asiwaju Asiru Idris on the passing of his beloved father, Late Alhaji Asiru Ijagbemi who passed on at the age of 95.

In a condolence message issued to Newsmen in Lokoja, the Senator described the loss of the late patriarch, Late Alhaji Asiru Ijagbemi, as a great loss to the entire State, but particularly to the Okun nation.

The Senator described Late Alhaji Asiru Ijagbemi as a devoted community leader, a beacon of wisdom, and a man of integrity, whose life left an indelible mark on his family and society.

According to the statement by Sen
 Karimi, “The loss of a parent is a profound and deeply personal sorrow. I however share in your grief during this difficult moment,” the Senator disclosed.

“Your father was a pillar of strength and guidance, and his legacy of service and dedication will continue to inspire generations.”

The Senator, therefore, on behalf of the entire people of Kogi West, prayed that the Almighty grant Asiwaju Asiru, his family and other siblings the strength to bear the irreplaceable loss and to bestow divine mercy upon the departed soul. 

“May Almighty grant him eternal rest, and comfort the family he left behind as well as grant the Finance Commissioner the strength to bear the loss,” he added.
