KOGI STATE TAEKWONDO ASSOCIATION CONGRATULATES REVEREND GODWIN ABBA ON HIS RE-ELECTION INTO THE BOARD, TAEKWONDO FEDERATION OF NIGERIA

  Kogi State Chairman of Taekwondo Association has described the re-election of Reverend Godwin Abba into the Board of Taekwondo federation of Nigeria as a positive development.

  The Chairman of Taekwondo Association in Kogi State stated this in Lokoja while Congratulating Reverend Godwin Abba on his re-election.

  The statement personally signed by Dr. Isaac Arome Yusuf said the reelection of Reverend Godwin Abba is a thing of joy to Kogi State Taekwondo Association, saying members are happy with the outcome of the election.

  Dr. Isaac Arome Yusuf on behalf of the State Executive and members, declared their total support for Reverend Godwin Abba in view of his quality leadership in the Teakwondo game in the state.

  The Kogi State Teakwondo Association prayed for more blessings upon Reverend Godwin Abba as he begins another new phase in the federation Board of the Game.

  Dr. Isaac Arome Yusuf  on behalf of the Association wished Reverend Godwin Abba and his team of Teakwondo federation of Nigeria board a successful tenure in office and prayed for continued progress and development of the Teakwondo  in Kogi State and Nigeria at large.

SECURITY: OLAMABORO LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMAN ENGAGES OFANTE OGUGU COMMUNITY, PLACES BAN ON RECEIVING NEW FULANIS

In a bold and proactive move to address rising insecurity and the influx of Fulani into Ofante Ogugu community, Executive Chairman of Olamaboro Local Government, Hon. Ameh Williams, on June 20th, visited the community and Declared Zero Tolerance for insecurity and Criminal Activities in the area. The high-powered security and community engagement meeting attracted personalities including traditional rulers, women and youth leaders, security operatives, the Fulani and Hausa leadership in Ofante, political office holders, and other relevant stakeholders from Ofante, Adupi, Emodu, and surrounding communities. 2024/2025 WAEC Data Capturing Commences In Kogi Public Secondary Schools Jan. 13

By Stephen Adeleye  Lokoja, Jan. 10, 2025 The Kogi State Ministry of Education, has announced the date for the commencement of Data Capturing for 2024/2025  West African Examination Council (WAEC) in Public Secondary Schools across the state.   The announcement was made in a statement signed by Mrs Iyabo Moraiyewa, the WAEC Desk Officer, Kogi State Ministry of Education on Friday in Lokoja.  According to the statement, the 2024/2025 WAEC data capturing would commence on Monday, January 13, 2025. Moraiyewa solicited for the total support and cooperation of the relevant stakeholders for a seamless exercise.
