A PROMINENT DAUGHTER OF KOGI STATE, BARRISTER ELIZABETH SCHULE LAUDS GOVERNOR ODODO'S ACHIEVEMENTS IN ALL AREAS

A Prominent daughter of Kogi State, Erelu of Apata land, and Diasporal. Barrister Elizabeth Schule has taken a clinical assessment of Kogi State under the political leadership of the Chief servant, of the state governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo as  working in human, infrastructure and security development of the state.

The legal luminary who gave the assessment on the sideline of the recent happenings in the state, stated that Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo led administration's track record in humongous investment in security and checkmate the unholy and ungodly  operations of terrorists, banditry, robbery and  kidnapping is yielding positive results.

Barrister Elizabeth Schule said the the present government under the watch of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo is spendings and politically  eliminating insecurity in Oworo land, and the State at large, which is in compliance with section 14 of 1999 Nigerian Constitution as amended as  sole responsibility of government to guarantee the safety of lives and property of the citizens

While passing a clean bill of health on the governor's Giant strides in the deployment and mobilization of Nigerian Army, Nigeria Security and civil Defense Corps, Police and local vigilante groups to flash points communities, the pragmatic actions and efforts if sustained will boost the socio-economics wellbeing of grassroots as farmers will go to their varoius farms inorder to yield food security and demystified hunger, poverty and underdevelopment.

According to her, others neighbouring states including Niger, Nasarawa, Benue, ekiti kwara, ondo among others  should  take a study tour and evolve peer review mechanism by emulating the security architectures of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to tackle headlong the security threat in their States 

Barrister Elizabeth and the Erelu of Apata land also hailed the governor  for the timely assenting to the bill preventing heavy duty truck movement during day, Asserting that the far reaching policy will no doubt reduce crime and carnages on the federal government's link Lokoja road which frequently terminate lives especially federal University and Kogi State Polytechnic Students. 

She acknowledged the inroad of traditional rulers including the Olu Apata land , Oba Fedrick Balogun, Bajana of Obajana, Oba Idowu Isenebi, Massi of Oworo land and the Olu of Oshokosoko land for their continues fatherly roles in mobilizing their subjects in promoting , peace , unity and fostering development in their respective domains.

The Diasporal Nigerian legal luminary expressed her preparedness to support  government and traditional rulers to facilitate meaningful development to Oworo land is in top gear to launch people's centred project that will uplift the living standerds of her people.

SECURITY: OLAMABORO LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMAN ENGAGES OFANTE OGUGU COMMUNITY, PLACES BAN ON RECEIVING NEW FULANIS

In a bold and proactive move to address rising insecurity and the influx of Fulani into Ofante Ogugu community, Executive Chairman of Olamaboro Local Government, Hon. Ameh Williams, on June 20th, visited the community and Declared Zero Tolerance for insecurity and Criminal Activities in the area. The high-powered security and community engagement meeting attracted personalities including traditional rulers, women and youth leaders, security operatives, the Fulani and Hausa leadership in Ofante, political office holders, and other relevant stakeholders from Ofante, Adupi, Emodu, and surrounding communities. 2024/2025 WAEC Data Capturing Commences In Kogi Public Secondary Schools Jan. 13

By Stephen Adeleye  Lokoja, Jan. 10, 2025 The Kogi State Ministry of Education, has announced the date for the commencement of Data Capturing for 2024/2025  West African Examination Council (WAEC) in Public Secondary Schools across the state.   The announcement was made in a statement signed by Mrs Iyabo Moraiyewa, the WAEC Desk Officer, Kogi State Ministry of Education on Friday in Lokoja.  According to the statement, the 2024/2025 WAEC data capturing would commence on Monday, January 13, 2025. Moraiyewa solicited for the total support and cooperation of the relevant stakeholders for a seamless exercise.
