Comrade Sunday David Adavize felicites with Muslim youths on Eid-il-Adha celebration
The Chairmanship Aspirant in the forthcoming Kogi State Chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Comrade Sunday David Adavize has felicited with Muslim youths in Kogi State and Nigeria at large on the occasion of Eid-il-Adha celebration.
Comrade Sunday David Adavize, in a felicitation message, said Eid-il-Adha is a celebration of faith, sacrifice and unity.
He urged Muslim youths to reflect on the story of Prophet Ibrahim, who exemplified obedience, selflessness and sacrifice, saying his unwavering faith and willingness to surrender to the will of Allah will serves as reminder to all Muslims.
According to Comrade Sunday, Muslims youths are expected to use the occasion to imbibe the fear of Allah, cultivate the spirit of compassion, as well as strive to follow the teachings of Prophet Muhammad and the values of kindness.
Comrade Sunday David, as a leader and aspirant, urged youths in Kogi State to continue to imbibe the spirit of unity, resilience, determination and peaceful coexistence that defines the great nation.
The NYCN Chairmanship Aspirant also appealed to Kogi youths not to relent efforts but continue to strive to be beacons of hope, progress, and development in their communities, as well as work towards building a brighter future for themselves and generations to come.
Comrade Sunday David maintained that as he seek the position of Kogi State Chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria, he remain committed to serving the youth and promoting their welfare, empowerment and development.
He promised to working with all stakeholders to build a stronger, more united and prosperous Kogi State, calling on youths to continue to be law abiding and ensure peaceful coexistence among one another irrespective of religious or ethnic differences.
The NYCN Chairmanship Aspirant wished Kogi youths a peaceful Eid-il-Adha celebration.
