CHAIRMAN OF OLAMABORO LOCAL GOVERNMENT TO VISIT OFANTE OGUGU COMMUNITY TODAY, 20TH JUNE 2025 TO STRENGTHEN SECURITY ARCHITECTURE OF THE AREA

The Executive Chairman of Olamaboro Local Government Area, Hon. Williams Ameh will visit Ofante Ogugu community today, the 20th of June 2025 to  rub mind with members of the community on the way forward to strengthening security architecture, especially in tackling  Fulani related issues affecting the community.

Those involved in the meeting with the Chairman are traditional leaders, community leaders, representatives of Fulanis residing in Ofante, security agents, vigilance groups, youth leader and relevant community stakeholders.

The aim of the meeting is to discuss on the way forward to put an end to the insecurities witnessing in the community especially the recent kidnapping of members of the community by the suspected Fulani herdsmen and other criminal activities taking place in the community.

Time of the meeting is two o'clock in the afternoon, at the OSHA township Hall, Alafor center, Ofante.

Those concerned should endeavour to be punctual as crucial security matters would be discussed for the betterment of the community and the state at large.
