Kogi State Chapter of Christian Northern Nigeria Political Forum felicitates with Governor Ododo on his one year in office

Kogi State Chapter of Christian Northern Nigeria Political Forum, (CNNPF) has congratulated Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed  Usman Ododo on his  one year Anniversary.

Deputy National Coordinator of the Forum, Hon. Ibrahim Itodo,  in a felicitation message in Lokoja, described the excellence performance of Governor Ododo and his Deputy, comrade Joel Salifu within one year in office as commendable.

According to Hon. Itodo, the Forum was formed to dymistify the misconceptions of the Christians that politics is Evil and the politicians will not make heaven.

He noted that the CNNPF became prominence during the Muslim/Muslim ticket of APC Presidential flag bearers of Tinubu/Shettima joint ticket.

The Deputy National Coordinator, on behalf of the Kogi State Chapter of the Forum,  congratulated Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and his Deputy, comrade Joel Salifu for their Uncommon performance, which he described their one year Anniversary as a celebration of fruitfull service to humanity.

Hon. Ibrahim Itodo maintained that the successes recorded so far by Governor Ododo  was as a result of leadership style layed by  his predecessor, Former Governor Yahaya Bello who was a man of principle, dogged political emancipator and the current leader of modern kogi politics.

According to him, during the campaign,  Governor Ododo promised to work assiduously to correct whatever his mentor fall short of performance, which the servant leader actually meant what he told the people by matching work with his promises.

He said Governor Ododo and his team have been unequivocally described as a square pig in a square hole, stressing that the forum has beamed its search light on the performances of this team and realized that they are focused and determined to build kogi of our dream, where ethnicity, religion and sectionalism have no place in our political development.

The Deputy Coordinator however, appealed to the present administration to open up of rural roads due to  their social economic and political development, as part of what this strategy will give birth to, amongst others is party membership mobilization and recruitment.

Hon. Itodo prayed God to grant Governor Ododo and his Deputy, comrade Joel  the wisdom, good health and long life to continue to unite  the people across the three senatorial districts of the State for  justice, fairness and equitable distribution of common matrimony.

SECURITY: OLAMABORO LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMAN ENGAGES OFANTE OGUGU COMMUNITY, PLACES BAN ON RECEIVING NEW FULANIS

In a bold and proactive move to address rising insecurity and the influx of Fulani into Ofante Ogugu community, Executive Chairman of Olamaboro Local Government, Hon. Ameh Williams, on June 20th, visited the community and Declared Zero Tolerance for insecurity and Criminal Activities in the area. The high-powered security and community engagement meeting attracted personalities including traditional rulers, women and youth leaders, security operatives, the Fulani and Hausa leadership in Ofante, political office holders, and other relevant stakeholders from Ofante, Adupi, Emodu, and surrounding communities. 2024/2025 WAEC Data Capturing Commences In Kogi Public Secondary Schools Jan. 13

By Stephen Adeleye  Lokoja, Jan. 10, 2025 The Kogi State Ministry of Education, has announced the date for the commencement of Data Capturing for 2024/2025  West African Examination Council (WAEC) in Public Secondary Schools across the state.   The announcement was made in a statement signed by Mrs Iyabo Moraiyewa, the WAEC Desk Officer, Kogi State Ministry of Education on Friday in Lokoja.  According to the statement, the 2024/2025 WAEC data capturing would commence on Monday, January 13, 2025. Moraiyewa solicited for the total support and cooperation of the relevant stakeholders for a seamless exercise.
