Nigeria Commissioners for Youths and Sports Development commends President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's quality leadership

Commissioners for Youth and Sports Development in the country have described the administration under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as impressive.

The commendation was contained in a communique at the End of Seventh  National Council on Youth and Sports Development, held in Borno State.

The seventh National Council on Youth Development with the Theme, "Transforming and Repositioning the Nigerian Youth to Thrive and Catalyzes Economic Development" was attended by Commissioners for Youth and Sports Development from across the country including Abuja, which the Director Youth Development in the Ministry and some Youth Leaders in the Country were among.

The Commissioners  in their resolution at the event commended President  Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his efforts towards Youths development in the county.

Speaking with newsmen shortly after the End of the Seventh National Council on Youth Development, kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Aridaojo Monday Anyebe described the meeting as a welcome development especially as it concerned the Youth Programmes.

Hon.  Monday Anyebe who led the kogi State Representatives to the event, expressed the committement of the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman to Youth development in the state.

The Commissioner thanked Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his adequate support towards ensuring that kogi State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development participated in the programme.

He called on Youths in the state to continue to support the present administration for the growth and Progress of Youths in the state.

Also speaking at the event, the  Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Zulum enjoined Nigerian Youths to be supportive of the Government of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu for more dividence of democracy.

Professor Babagana Zulum thanked the organizers of the programme for chosen Borno State to  host the programme and advised the youths to use the knowledge aquaired at the programme for the betterment of their state and Nigeria at large.

Among the entourage of the Kogi State Commissioner include ; the Deputy Director Youth Development in the Ministry, Mallam Abubakar Abdullahi among others.

SECURITY: OLAMABORO LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMAN ENGAGES OFANTE OGUGU COMMUNITY, PLACES BAN ON RECEIVING NEW FULANIS

In a bold and proactive move to address rising insecurity and the influx of Fulani into Ofante Ogugu community, Executive Chairman of Olamaboro Local Government, Hon. Ameh Williams, on June 20th, visited the community and Declared Zero Tolerance for insecurity and Criminal Activities in the area. 2024/2025 WAEC Data Capturing Commences In Kogi Public Secondary Schools Jan. 13

By Stephen Adeleye  Lokoja, Jan. 10, 2025 The Kogi State Ministry of Education, has announced the date for the commencement of Data Capturing for 2024/2025  West African Examination Council (WAEC) in Public Secondary Schools across the state.   The announcement was made in a statement signed by Mrs Iyabo Moraiyewa, the WAEC Desk Officer, Kogi State Ministry of Education on Friday in Lokoja.  According to the statement, the 2024/2025 WAEC data capturing would commence on Monday, January 13, 2025. Moraiyewa solicited for the total support and cooperation of the relevant stakeholders for a seamless exercise.
