LG POLL: Boniface Omachonu congratutes Ibaji Local Government Chairman-elect on his victory in just concluded LG Elections in Kogi State

The Chairman, Radio Kogi Chapel of the Kogi State Council of the Nigerian union of Journalist, Mr Boniface Omachonu has congratulated Ibaji Local Government Chairman-elect, honorable Emmanuel Ugeh on his victory at the polls in the just concluded Local Government Elections in Kogi State.

Mr. Boniface, in his congratulatory message, described the victory  as well deserved in view of Mr Emmanuel Ugeh and Mrs Victoria Okola's  track records.
Mr Boniface Omachonu said Mr Emmanuel Ugeh and Mrs Victoria Okola have been  tested over the years and they have proved beyond reasonable doubt that they have all the quality needed to serve as Chairman and vice Chairman  of the Local Government  Area.

According to him, during their time as Chief Security and Secretary of the Local Government, there was mutual understanding between them and the civil servants and as well mentanning peace among the people of the area.

He noted that their coming on board will enable them to build on the legacy already established, especially in the area of payment of workers' salary as at when due,  the development of Ibaji land, empowerment of women and youths, rehabilitation of roads among others.

Mr Boniface urged the new executive of Ibaji Local Government to collaborate with the member representing Ibaji Constituency at the State House of Assembly, Mrs. Comfort Ojoma Egwaba and the Commissioner of Agriculture and Food Security, Mr Timothy Ojoma, other stakeholders of APC and traditional rulers in the area for peace, Unity and development of Ibaji land.

The Chairman, while Congratulating the APC family on the victory, described it as a victory  for all.
