Kogi State Broadcasting Corporation promises collaboration with NTA for better service delivery

Kogi State Broadcasting Corporation has promised to collaborate with the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) in their service to the people.

Director-General of the Corporation, Hajia Nana Hauwa Yusuf made the promised when a team from the NAT Lokoja paid her a courtesy visit in her office.


A Team from the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) Lokoja,  led by its General Manager, Alhaji Yahaya Adam was in the office of princess Nana Hauwa Yusuf to congratulate her on her appointment  as the Director General, Kogi State Broadcasting Corporation.


Speaking during the visit, the Director General  emphasized the need for both organizations to continue to work hand in hand towards serving the people of the state as well as projecting Government policies and programmes.

Hajia Nana-Hauwa thanked the team for the visit and promised to sustain the synergy between the Radio and NTA for better service delivery.

The Director General also thanked the State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for being a media friendly Governor, stressing that he has  given adequate attention to the State Broadcasting Corporation and promised not to disappoint the Government.

The General Manager, Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) Lokoja, Alhaji Yahaya Adam said  the visit was to congratulate Hajia Nana Hauwa Yusuf on her appointment as Director-General, Kogi State Broadcasting Corporation, which he described as well deserved in view of her track records.


"I am not in this surprise because you have demonstrated hard work, committement and resourcesfullness from the onset. For those of us who are familiar with you and your track records, one would not be surprised". He said.

Alhaji Adam expressed  readiness of the NTA to collaborate with Radio Kogi towards achieving common goals in serving the people and projecting the image of the Government, appealing to management of the corporation to intensify their supports for the Director General to enable her succeed.

In a remark, the Director News and Current affairs Department of the Corporation, Pastor Gowon Edibo thanked the team for identifying with the radio, describing it as a mark of honour, and also thanked the DG and Commissioner of information and communication, Mr. Kingsley Fanwo for reviving radio Kogi online.
