Commissioner Of Youth and Sports Development Urges Staff to be diligent in the discharge of their duties

Management and Staff of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development have been charged to avoid sentiment in the discharge of their official duties.

The  state Commissioner of the Ministry, Hon. Monday A. Anyebe gave the charge during the sent-forth of the outgoing Director Administration, Comrade Itodo who was transferred to another Ministry in Lokoja.

The Commissioner who discribed the out going Director Administration, Comrade Itodo Yusuf as a man of unity, peace and integrity during his service in the ministry, advised him to sustain the character in his New office.

Hon. Anyebe appealed to other staff of the ministry to emulate the quality leadership of Comrade Itodo Yusuf by  being diligent in the discharge of their responsibilities at all times and avoid sentiment.

He appreciated  Itodo Yusuf for his positive impact in the ministry during his stay in the office as an administrator and prayed God to reward him for his contribution to the growth and development of the Ministry.

In their separate remarks,  the Director Sports of the Ministry Mr. David Ogazuma, the Director Account and Finance, Mrs. Cecilia Akoh and the Internal Auditor of the Ministry, Evangelist Ameh Cecilia described Comrade Itodo Yusuf as a man with examplary character who is loved by all.

On his part, the new Director Administration in the Ministry, Mallam Ibrahims Yahaya who took over from Itodo Yusuf promised to emulate him  by carry everyone along in the scheme of things for the progress and development of the Ministry.

Responding, the out going Director Administration, Comrade Itodo Yusuf thanked commissioner, management and Staff of the ministry for recognition and show of love and promised not to let them down in his new office, as well as sustain his relationship with the ministry.

SECURITY: OLAMABORO LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMAN ENGAGES OFANTE OGUGU COMMUNITY, PLACES BAN ON RECEIVING NEW FULANIS

In a bold and proactive move to address rising insecurity and the influx of Fulani into Ofante Ogugu community, Executive Chairman of Olamaboro Local Government, Hon. Ameh Williams, on June 20th, visited the community and Declared Zero Tolerance for insecurity and Criminal Activities in the area. The high-powered security and community engagement meeting attracted personalities including traditional rulers, women and youth leaders, security operatives, the Fulani and Hausa leadership in Ofante, political office holders, and other relevant stakeholders from Ofante, Adupi, Emodu, and surrounding communities. 2024/2025 WAEC Data Capturing Commences In Kogi Public Secondary Schools Jan. 13

By Stephen Adeleye  Lokoja, Jan. 10, 2025 The Kogi State Ministry of Education, has announced the date for the commencement of Data Capturing for 2024/2025  West African Examination Council (WAEC) in Public Secondary Schools across the state.   The announcement was made in a statement signed by Mrs Iyabo Moraiyewa, the WAEC Desk Officer, Kogi State Ministry of Education on Friday in Lokoja.  According to the statement, the 2024/2025 WAEC data capturing would commence on Monday, January 13, 2025. Moraiyewa solicited for the total support and cooperation of the relevant stakeholders for a seamless exercise.
