KOGI APC LGA COUNCIL SCREENING: HON. Williams Ameh Scales through Screening successfully




Kogi State All Progressive Congress (APC) Screening Committee has screened Honourable Williams Ameh as Olamaboro Local Government chairmanship aspirant of the party in the  forthcoming Local Government Council polls.

Speaking shortly after his screening at the APC Secretariat Lokoja, Hon. William expressed satisfaction with the exercise which he described as successful.

Hon. Williams Who was the immediate  past Olamaboro Local Government Caretaker Chairman, commended the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Usman Ododo for giving him the opportunity to serve and promised not to disappoint him but to deliver the needed service to the people of the area  if elected as the Council  Chairman.

He emphasized the clarity of the footprints of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, who according to him believes in giving back to the people and promised to key into the policies and programmes of the present administration to impact positively on the lives of the people of Olamaboro if giving the mandate.

The aspirant described his emergence as APC Chairmanship Flag bear as a divine mandate, calling on members of the party in the area to close ranks and work in synergy for the success of the party in the forthcoming Local Government elections.

"I can only say my colleagues in the party also have rights to contest like me but God's time is always the best, I think this time around God has made it possible for me to be the flagbearer of the party and I want to use this opportunity to call on all of them, let us come together, let's close ranks and work in synergy and deliver hundred percent for our party in Olamaboro and across the 21 local government. We are one big family and by the grace of God, everybody will have his own time to serve". He said.

Hon. Williams appreciated the electorate in Olamaboro Local Government for their efforts and supports which leads to successes recorded by  the party in Olamaboro since 2015 till date and appealed to them to sustain the efforts by coming out enmass on October nineteenth this year  to vote for all candidates of the APC to enable them ignite the renewed hope agenda of president Tinubu for the betterment of the people.

SECURITY: OLAMABORO LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMAN ENGAGES OFANTE OGUGU COMMUNITY, PLACES BAN ON RECEIVING NEW FULANIS

In a bold and proactive move to address rising insecurity and the influx of Fulani into Ofante Ogugu community, Executive Chairman of Olamaboro Local Government, Hon. Ameh Williams, on June 20th, visited the community and Declared Zero Tolerance for insecurity and Criminal Activities in the area. The high-powered security and community engagement meeting attracted personalities including traditional rulers, women and youth leaders, security operatives, the Fulani and Hausa leadership in Ofante, political office holders, and other relevant stakeholders from Ofante, Adupi, Emodu, and surrounding communities. 2024/2025 WAEC Data Capturing Commences In Kogi Public Secondary Schools Jan. 13

By Stephen Adeleye  Lokoja, Jan. 10, 2025 The Kogi State Ministry of Education, has announced the date for the commencement of Data Capturing for 2024/2025  West African Examination Council (WAEC) in Public Secondary Schools across the state.   The announcement was made in a statement signed by Mrs Iyabo Moraiyewa, the WAEC Desk Officer, Kogi State Ministry of Education on Friday in Lokoja.  According to the statement, the 2024/2025 WAEC data capturing would commence on Monday, January 13, 2025. Moraiyewa solicited for the total support and cooperation of the relevant stakeholders for a seamless exercise.
