President Tinubu appoints Edward Onoja as Commissioner Representing Federal Capital Territory of Public Complaint Commission


The immediate past Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Chief Edward David Onoja, has been appointed as the Commissioner Representing Federal Capital Territory of the Public Complaint Commission. 

The appointment is a testament to Onoja's dedication and  commitment to public service, especially in resolving disputes and promoting good governance.

The Public Complaint Commission (PCC) is an agency of the Federal Government of Nigeria that serves as an ombudsman, arbitrating among public and private organizations, as well as individuals, to resolve disputes. 

The Commission is headed by a Chief Commissioner and has offices in all 36 states of Nigeria, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and Its headquarters is located at the Seat of Power, making it the apex ombudsman institution in the country.

Chief Onojah, as the Commissioner Representing Federal Capital Territory, will play a crucial role in resolving disputes and addressing complaints related to public and private organizations in the FCT. 

He will work closely with various stakeholders, including government agencies, private companies and individuals to promote good governance and ensure that the rights of citizens are protected.

Onoja's appointment is based on his wealth of experience in public service and his proven track record of promoting good governance. 

The appointment is a confirmation that the former Deputy Governor of Kogi State, has demonstrated his commitment to resolving disputes and promoting peace and stability in the state, as well as leadership skills, combined with his experience in public service, make him an ideal candidate for the position.

Onoja's appointment is expected to have a positive impact on the Public Complaint Commission and the Federal Capital Territory, as his leadership skills, experience and expertise will be brought to bare in resolving disputes and promote good governance, which will in turn contribute to the development of the FCT and the country at large.
