The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) hereby announces the commencement of the second phase of the Renewed Hope Employment Initiative. This initiative aims to provide vocational, digital, agricultural, and entrepreneurial training to unemployed and underemployed individuals seeking to become self-reliant. Application portal opens from July 28th, 2025 and closes August 11th, 2025. Interested persons are to visit www.nde.gov.ng  or nderegistrationportal.ng to apply. Kogi State Ministry of Health Screens children in Ministry of Mercy Medical Centre Orphanage for malnutrition, donates food items to orphanage

A delegation from Kogi State Ministry of Health has visited Ministry of Mercy Medical Centre Orphanage home,  Lokoja,  for Nutritional Screening of the  children and donated food items to prevent malnutrition of the orphans. The screening entails using some basic tools to assess their nutritional status. Speaking during the visit, the state commissioner of Health, Doctor Abdulkazeez Adams Adeiza said the initiative was part of  Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo's efforts to provide basic and essential health services to the people including children, women and vulnerables, hence the need to visite the Ministry of Mercy Medical Centre Orphanage home,  Lokoja, to screen the orphans  for malnutrition status and donate the nutritional items to ensure their healthy living. GOVERNOR AHMED USMAN ODODO DONATES SECURITY GADGETS TO KOGI POLY TO BOOST CAMPUS SECURITY

In a proactive move to enhance safety of lives and properties across tertiary institutions in Kogi State, the State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo's led administration has donated advanced security gadgets to Kogi State Polytechnic, covering both the Lokoja and Itakpe Campus.  The donation includes installation of modern CCTV surveillance cameras, lithium-powered torchlights and rapid response scooters, aimed at strengthening campus security infrastructure. The initiative reflects the Governor's commitment to the safety of students, staff and educational facilities across Kogi State. The items were formally handed over to the Polytechnic management on Thursday 3rd July , 2025 by Engineer Sani Isah of SufPay Limited, who handled  the project.  Engr. Isah stated that the items were carefully chosen to meet the specific security needs of the institution.
