President Tinubu appoints Edward Onoja as Commissioner Representing Federal Capital Territory of Public Complaint Commission

The immediate past Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Chief Edward David Onoja, has been appointed as the Commissioner Representing Federal Capital Territory of the Public Complaint Commission.  The appointment is a testament to Onoja's dedication and  commitment to public service, especially in resolving disputes and promoting good governance. The Public Complaint Commission (PCC) is an agency of the Federal Government of Nigeria that serves as an ombudsman, arbitrating among public and private organizations, as well as individuals, to resolve disputes.  The Commission is headed by a Chief Commissioner and has offices in all 36 states of Nigeria, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and Its headquarters is located at the Seat of Power, making it the apex ombudsman institution in the country. LG Elections: Gov. Ododo charges State APC Executives to uphold Party's constitution in conducting LG Elections

Kogi  State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has urged State All Progressives Congress (APC) Executives to uphold the constitutions of the party in the conduct of the forthcoming Local Government Elections. Governor Ododo gave the charge during the State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress' expanded State Executive Committee/Critical Stakeholders Meeting  at the party Secretariat, Lokoja. The meeting  which followed the earlier announcement of schedule of activities for the conduct of the Councillorship and chairmanship Elections by Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission (KOSIEC) was to deliberate on the forthcoming Local Government Elections.  Speaking at the event, the State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo urged State APC Executives to uphold the constitutions of the party in the conduct of the forthcoming Local Government Elections, saying that women will have 40 percent of Councillorship positions, while men will have 60 percent.
