By James Sani  Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has urged Nigerians to unite in the spirit of patriotism and shared responsibility to move the country forward, as the nation marked its 65th Independence Anniversary. Governor Ododo made the call in a message during the Nigeria's 65th Independence Day celebration held at the Banquet Hall, Government House, Lokoja. Sunday Karimi, today Saturday, visited men and officers of the Nigerian Police Force Isanlu Division to commiserate with them on the unfortunate demise of two of their men who died on the line of duty. Immediate past Provost of FCE Okene charges his successor, Doctor Ibrahim Ismaila to onsolidate on past achievements

The newly appointed Provost of Federal College of Education (FCE), Okene Doctor Ibrahim Ismaila Mosimabale has been charged to continue to consolidate on past achievements. The immediate past Provost of the College, Doctor Umar Hassan  MNAE gave the charge while handing over the leadership of the College to the new Provost in a speech virtually conducted through zoom. Doctor Hassan who expressed gratitude to God for the opportunity given him to serve successfully for eight years, also appreciated the staff for their support through out the period. He further highlighted the successes recorded and charged the new Provost to improve on them and as well surpass in all ramifications. Responding the new Provost, Doctor Ibrahim Ismaila Mosimabale expressed appreciation to God for the opportunity to serve and pledged to justify the confidence reposed in him.
