EASTER CELEBRATION: KOGI POLY RECTOR FELICITATES WITH CHRISTIANS, CALLS FOR PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE

On behalf of the Management, Academic Board, staff and students of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, I wish to felicitate with all Christian faithful on the auspicious occasion of the 2025 Easter Celebration. I pray that the spirit of Easter as embodies in Christ's live and teachings guide us into submissiveness to God Almighty, radiating love, peace and selfless commitments. Let us reflect on the symbolic selflessness of  Christ to empathise with and care for one another and  avoid divisive and destructive tendencies. It is my sincere prayer that we take advantage of this solemn moment to work towards the advancement of Kogi State Polytechnic in particular, and Kogi State and Nigeria as a whole. Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Media, Ismaila Isah, has assured that local communities in the state will soon experience major economic transformation with the commencement of mining operations and new infrastructure development projects in the state. Isah gave the assurance while featuring on Rapid TV in Abuja on Thursday. He said with the recent acquisition of 15 mining licenses, the Kogi state government is poised to reinvigorate the economy in local communities across the state. The Governor’s spokesman said youths will take the lead in the emerging solid minerals economy in Kogi state. “Kogi has over 32 mineral deposits, all in commercial quantities. The state government has floated a special purpose vehicle (SPV), under the solid minerals development company, to open up the mining sector to foreign and local investors. KOGI POLY RECTOR CONDOLES AJAOKUTA REPS MEMBER ON DEMISE OF HIS BELOVED MOTHER

The Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, Professor Salisu Ogbo Usman, has extended  heartfelt condolence to the member representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Honourable Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem, on the passing of his beloved mother, Mama Arametu Sanni Egidi.  Professor Usman expressed deep sorrow over the irreparable loss, describing Mama Arametu as a remarkable woman whose contributions to society will remain indelible.   The Rector also described late Mama  as a virtuous woman, blessed by Allah to give birth to great children that are making positive impact in the lives of the people. Professor Usman extolled the virtues of the late Mama Arametu, emphasizing her commitment to community development, her compassionate heart, and her steadfast dedication to uplifting the lives of the people of Ajaokuta and Ebira land as a whole. Member Representing Kaura Namoda Birinni Magaji Federal Constituency, Rt Hon Aminu Sani Jaji has condoled the family of late Member  representing Kaura Namoda, chairman committee on Humanitarian affairs, Hon Aminu Ibrahim kasuwar Daji who died on the 9th April,2025. Rt Hon Aminu Sani Jaji who led members of his entourage to the family house of late Aminu Ibrahim kasuwar Daji, said they were in his Constituency to show compassion and attend to the teething challenges of his federal Constituency, especially at this moment of grief and unfortunate death of the lawmaker. The Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, Professor Salisu Ogbo Usman, has congratulated Dr. Mohammed Kabiru Ibrahim on his well deserved appointment as the Provost, Kogi State College of Education (Technical), Mopa.  Professor Usman described the appointment as a testament of Dr. Ibrahim's wealth of administrative experience and exceptional  intellectual prowess which he is expected to bring board to drive the institution for aggressive growth and development.  The Rector stressed that Dr. Ibrahim's experience in the management of Kogi State College of Education, Ankpa, further positions him strongly to propel the institution to greater heights.
